Jul 26, 2026"Traditional style Texan barbecue is unique in itself because of it's elaborate and laborious way of preparing and cooking meat. In which, the result is absolute perfection! Gensan is one lucky place to have it's very own authentic Texan smokehouse run by no less a Texan native himself- Chef Michael. The moment you set foot in Smokin' Area, it already feels like you're transported into a Wild West tavern complete with the Lone Star State flag hanging on the wall. They also have a spacious backyard patio with a small garden exuding a very homey, romantic ambiance. It's a very unassuming place that would let you feel like you're just at home enjoying a barbecue night with friends. But the best takeaway from visiting Smokin' Area would surely be the food. Low and slow smoked meats prepared in a very Texan way. Must try? Everything! And no, I'm not kidding! Just imagine yourself devouring that fall-off-the-bone-melts-in-your-mouth meat of all goodness! Heaven!"
